The driest months — December to February and June to September — give the easiest trekking conditions and reliable wildlife viewing. Gorilla trekking runs year-round, though trails are wetter and muddier in the rainy seasons.
Yes — gorilla permits are required and issued in limited numbers per day. We secure them on your behalf, so booking a few months ahead is strongly recommended, especially for peak season dates.
Yes. Uganda is a well-established, welcoming safari destination. With standard travel precautions, experienced local guides and vetted transport, our trips run safely and smoothly.
Moderate fitness is enough for most people — treks range from under an hour to several hours through forest terrain. Porters are available to carry packs, and we match trek difficulty to your fitness level where possible.
