Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your safari guide and embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular savannah park. The drive will take you through scenic countryside and small villages, with views of the Rwenzori Mountains in the distance. Arrive at the park in the afternoon, where you’ll check into your lodge and unwind after your journey.
In the evening, enjoy your first game drive through the park’s diverse ecosystems, where you may spot elephants, antelopes, and buffalo as the sun sets over the savannah.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, and over 600 bird species. Your guide will take you to the best spots for wildlife viewing, including the Kasenyi Plains, where lion sightings are common.
In the afternoon, head to the Kazinga Channel for a boat safari. This natural waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward and is famous for its large populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles. The boat cruise will bring you up close to these animals, and you may also see elephants, buffaloes, and various bird species along the shore.

On Day 3, after breakfast, you will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This drive offers spectacular views of the countryside, rolling hills, and tea plantations as you make your way to this UNESCO World Heritage site, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
You will arrive in Bwindi in the afternoon. Check into your lodge and spend the rest of the evening preparing for the gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

The highlight of your safari happens on Day 4—gorilla trekking. After an early breakfast, you’ll be taken to the park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority. The rangers will explain trekking protocols and assign you to a specific gorilla family for the day’s trek.
Trekking through the dense forest can be challenging, but once you find the gorillas, the effort becomes worth every step. You’ll spend an hour with these majestic creatures, watching them feed, groom, and interact with each other in their natural habitat. This unforgettable experience is one of the most profound wildlife encounters you’ll ever have.
After your trek, return to your lodge to relax and share stories of the day’s adventure with fellow trekkers.

On the final day of your safari, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before starting the drive back to Entebbe. The journey will take you through more of Uganda’s stunning scenery, offering chances for photography and last-minute souvenir shopping.
Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll either arrive in time for your departure flight or opt for an overnight stay in Entebbe.
