Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your safari guide and embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular savannah park. The drive will take you through scenic countryside and small villages, with views of the Rwenzori Mountains in the distance. Arrive at the park in the afternoon, where you’ll check into your lodge and unwind after your journey.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel

The highlight of your safari happens on Day 4—gorilla trekking. After an early breakfast, you’ll be taken to the park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority. The rangers will explain trekking protocols and assign you to a specific gorilla family for the day’s trek.

Trekking through the dense forest can be challenging, but once you find the gorillas, the effort becomes worth every step. You’ll spend an hour with these majestic creatures, watching them feed, groom, and interact with each other in their natural habitat. Day 5: Return to Entebbe and Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll either arrive in time for your departure flight or opt for an overnight stay in Entebbe.
